Sara Daniel is an artist and designer who lives and works between Saint-Brieuc and Brussels. Graduated from the Dirty Art Department at the Sandberg Instituut in Amsterdam (master's degree in art and design) in 2019, Sara first trained in design at the design school (ESAD) in Reims and then at the Social Design master in Eindhoven. During her artistic career she developed an interdisciplinary practice between art, design and an exploration of forms of activism aimed at rethinking the possibilities of political engagement. In an attempt to make visible the social structures of neoliberal capitalism, she has developed a language that draws on both protest and spectacle. In her work, she puts the construction of the individual and society into perspective by using a culturally marked, kitsch, cheap and flash aesthetic.
